It is an elegant picture with a contrast between the stark cathedral and the tree in front. The tree does seem to take away from the picture through its appearance before the cathedral. The surrounding area provides a city-esque environment.
While I find the idea interesting, the composition does not work. It looks like a tourist's hurried photo.
